Harrogate Hospital Radio - HHR

Harrogate Hospital Radio provide entertainment and comfort to patients of Harrogate District Hospital. We began broadcasting in 1977 and are now over 45 years old. Our Evening Request Shows are our flagship shows, playing requests collected by our team of volunteers, between 8 and 10pm every weekday.

We broadcast everything from todays hits to golden oldies, specialist shows and even a Sunday Service.

Every year, we bring the outside in to patients, attending events in the local area such as the Great Knaresborough Bed Race, the Nidderdale Show and the Great Yorkshire Show and broadcasting live from the action.

We are a Registered Charity (No. 507137), volunteer led and rely on fundraising and donations to continue to provide our service.
